SwagCodes

What are Swagcodes

Everyone knows now that Swagbucks rewards its members for searching and using their search engine.  But do you all know about their swagcodes?  They release codes from different locations at random times.  Their definition of the swagcode is a string of text that you can apply for instant SwagBucks By that they mean some letters and numbers put together to make up a code.
                                        Example "MuS1cMOnDaY"
Codes are case sensitive and will always have an expiration time next to them.

What do I do with a swagcode?

Once found, swagcodes are entered into the code box on the right hand side your Swagbucks home page.  You'll get instant swagbucks!

Swagcodes can also be entered into the code box on the right hand side of your accounts page.

Where can I find swagcodes?

Swagcodes can be found on Swagbucks Facebook page, Twitter, their Blog,
the Swagbucks Toolbar and my favorite the Widget/Swidget (seen below)
You can get a widget just like this one for your own website or you can bookmark this page and routinely visit throughout your day for swagcodes.  Sometimes the code itself is on the widget and if the code is somewhere else the widget will give you a hint and tell you where to look.

Happy Code Hunting!

My Take On Traffic Exchanges

When I first started working the "paid to" sites it wasn't long before I discovered traffic exchanges.  It was great working online. I was so excited that I had found a way to stay at home with the kids and still help out financially.  I had a few good websites that I was working every day and making money online.  Soon I realized I had to take it to the next level and start earning even more with a downline.

But where do you get a downline?

Up went my first website.  Now where do I get visitors?
How do I spread the word?  Here's my site how do I get people to come to it.

Enter traffic exchanges.   I didn't really know what I was doing yet I didn't know of anything else to do.  I had followed
all the seo advice that I could understand without a whole lot
of results.  After joining a few traffic exchanges I realized what exactly was happening.

I was looking at websites belonging to other people just like myself.  In return they were looking at my website.  We were all promoting "paid to" websites in one form or another.  Some were even promoting the exact same websites that I was.
Alongside were promotions for more traffic exchanges as well.

My first thought was ...This is crazy!  I am advertising to a group of people who are already doing the same thing as me,
working online.  Why would I want to show them my website about working online when they are obviously already working online.

I stopped for a while and started again.  I kinda went back and forth using and not using traffic exchanges for the next year or so.  It was not until much later that it hit me...

My "traffic exchanges do work" revelation.

The same thing that I didn't like about the exchanges is the exact thing that makes them work.

All the people there (members of traffic exchanges) are working online.

Who better to promote your ideas to than people who are already interested in the same type of ideas!  You can't get much more targeted than that!

Plus its a proven fact repetition does work.  When we see the same thing over and over again we start to recognize it and feel familiar with it. That makes us feel comfortable.  So when we are ready to join a new site we go where we are comfortable.

Also, our brains associate familiarity with truth.  We could go deeper with this line of reasoning but I think you get the point.

I know personally I have had to step away from my  computer for one reason or another and came back, sat down and just automatically started reading whatever was in front of me.  Kinda like ok where was I.  Now if I have a traffic exchange up and somebody's page is in front of me getting all my attention.  Everybody experiences this to some degree.

Its just like the captcha I kept getting on one of my programs.  I had to type in a phrase to prove that I was a real person.  The phrase had something to do with pants or jeans.  Later I heard that same phrase on a tv commercial.  I looked up from what I was doing and thought I'm gonna have to see what those pants look like.  Then a light went off in my head ... Gotcha.  Seeing and hearing that phrase over and over made me curious about the product.  Exactly what the promoters set out to do.

I don't believe all your traffic should come from here.  There are lots of other ways to get people to your site and business for your company and referrals for your programs as well.  But they are definitely one strong source when used correctly.

I also believe traffic exchanges still have a lot of kinks to work out.  You have to know what to look for in a good exchange, have good virus protection and use good old fashion
common sense.

In my next post I'll point out some of the do's and don'ts with t/e and I'll address some of the common issues such as:

       members advertising the same sites
surfers who don't look where they're going
       dishonest exchanges
       virus/spyware/malware
       scam discernment
       surfing ratio

Meanwhile if you need a good traffic exchange here are a few that I use.  Pick one or two or all and let me know what you think.

      TrafficDelivers
      TrafficG
      HitBandit

SwagBucks Proof of Payment

I always get PayPal gift cards when I cash out at SwagBucks.     I would just rather have the cash to put where I want.  But I gotta say, some of those other prizes or gift cards are looking pretty good.  Some are at a considerably less price also.
PayPal gift card form SwagBucks
I have posted here some of my PayPal gift card transaction and notifications so that you can see proof of payment enabling you to feel more confident about joining Swagbucks and spending your time there.

This first picture is a screenshot of my SwagBucks account confirming my order.  Here I cashed out with a $10.00 PayPal gift card.

It was only a week or so later that the gift cards went on sale.
Swagbucks add up pretty fast so I was able to go ahead and grab one more.  This is the order verification for another $10.00 Paypal gift card.

This shot is also from my Swagbucks account.  It shows the first Paypal gift card as already shipped and the second one as verified but not yet shipped.  By shipped they mean deposited into your Paypal account.  Its actually called a e-gift card.
You can also see here a few of the $5.00 Paypal gift cards I had previously cashed out and received.

Here we have an email from Paypal informing me that Swagbucks had deposited $10.00 into my Paypal account.

This screenshot is form my Paypal account showing the first $10.00 gift card along with a few other $5.00 gift cards.

Last is just a close up shot from my Paypal account showing the $10.00 gift card deposit from Swagbucks .

SwagBucks

SwagBucks is a search engine with a homepage full of
opportunities.  As you search (something you already do)
you earn swagbucks that cash in for money and prizes.
Along with searching there are many different
ways to earn the swagbucks such as surveys, free codes,
offers, daily polls, daily deals, coupons, games, videos,
tasks and more.  The page is user friendly and the
swagbucks add up super fast.

Spending swagbucks is just like shopping at a large
department store where anything and everything is
available. My favorite is the PayPal gift card.
With this I just keep building up my PayPal account
on a regular basis. I usually get the $5.00 gift card for
700 swagbucks because its easy to gather that amount
rather quickly.  The gift cards come in different amounts
ranging form $5.00 to $100.00. I think I am going to
hold out for the $10.00 card next time.
Other gift cards are available also and many at a much
lower swagbucks amount price.

This one is a no brainer... I mean we use search
engines daily anyway right!

Ok so if you want to join up or just take a look around

Funny

Gotta Love the Traffic Cameras
A man was driving when a traffic camera flashed. He thought his picture was taken for exceeding the speed limit, even though he knew he was not speeding. Just to be sure, he went around the block and passed the same spot, driving even more slowly, but again the camera flashed.
He thought this was quite funny, so he slowed down even further as he drove past the area, but the traffic camera flashed yet again. He tried a fourth time with the same result. The fifth time he was laughing when the camera flashed as he rolled past at a snail's pace.
Two weeks later, he got five traffic fine letters in the mail for driving without a seat belt.

Turn Swagbucks into Real Bucks

Numerous items are offered in the Swagstore on the Swagbucks website.  Its like a huge department store only better.  Prizes come in all shapes and sizes. Apparel & Accessories, Books, E-Books & Magazines, Games,  Game Consoles, Digital Wallpapers, Electronics, Appliances, Household supplies, Toys, Games, Gifts, Greeting Cards, Health & Beauty, Jewelry, Kitchen, Movies, TV, Music, Posters, Prints, School & Art Supplies, Sports &  Collectables, Trading Cards, Virtuals and last but not least...my favorite...Gift Cards.

I always get PayPal gift cards.  This week they are on sale.  Even when they are not they are a great deal.  After you have earned a minimum  of 599 swagbucks sale price, 700 regular price, go to the SwagStore and click on Gift & Rewards Cards.  Click Gift Cards - $5 & Less and its usually right there on the first page.  (There are many to choose from so you might get tempted to shop for something else!)  You can also just type PayPal Gift Card into the search bar.  Next click on Snag This and follow any additional instructions.  You must verify your order in your email before they will begin the transaction.  Make sure your PayPal email is the same email as your Swagbucks email.  This is important.

"The payment email is sent to the email address that is associated with your Swagbucks.com account. Under no circumstance will a payment email ever be sent to another email address."

Then in about 5 or 6 days the money will be in your PayPal account.  The official time on that is 7-21 business days.
I have never had to wait over a week.
Doing this a couple times a month totally adds up!
If you don't have a PayPal account you can get one here.
If you are not a member of Swagbucks and would like to join click here.
Have fun and good luck!!

CashCrate Explained

If you are totally new to working online this is for you! CashCrate Explained is a very detailed tutorial showing you exactly how CashCrate works so that you can maximize your earnings. Included here are 13 lucky Hot Tips that everyone that wants to make money online should know.
Optional page with larger print and a few extra tips click here CashCrate Explained

CashCrate  Explained

My suggestion to you, especially if you are new at the paid “to sites“ is to read over this page now and then once you have  been a member for a little while come back and read over it again. You may pick up on something you didn’t quite get the first time around after becoming familiar with the site.
Read the Tips on the top side of this page.

Hot Tip
The first thing you want to do after you sign up and before you log in is clear your computers cookies.  Always do this between each offer you do.
When you first join they give you a few suggested  offers to start you off with. Do these first and kind of get the feel for how the program works.

Offers: Once in the Members Area the first thing you want to do is set the  cash offers to show 100% Free and sort by to Rating. This will give you a list of  free offers only and the top rating (known to pay) offers.  Don’t forget to click Go.

Notice what offers are something you might actually be interested in and go for those.  The description running down the middle will tell you exactly what you need to do in order to be credited so read this carefully. Once you click on an offer it should open in a new page therefore allowing you to refer back if you need to.

You will find a variety of offer types here. Some are pretty self explanatory, others can be confusing.  There are two types of offers that you will see over and over. Those are what I am going to explain here.
Sometimes it may seem to go on and on or just take forever, but that’s just not the case once you know what you are doing.
First I am going to explain is what I refer to as the “survey offer.”
This one used to drive me crazy because it presents itself as an actual survey. Something like, Hardees or McDonalds, or Grape or Orange ABC vs. CBS.
Then once you get started its just a bunch of pages wanting you to join or sign up or buy.
So this is how those offers are done:

The first page will usually always ask for your email. That’s when you use the extra email that you set up for your offers. (see right column of this page)
The second page is where you put in your name, address information. I almost always use my correct information   If you are not comfortable giving out this information its possible this is just not the right program for you.  I have never had any problems from this.
No email on this page and this is where Roboform comes in handy.     Hot Tip
Roboform is a great program that you can download and install on your computer. It does not take up much space. What it does do is fill in all the forms for you!  It also helps with other things like passwords and more.  Roboform offers a free and a paid version.  I use free.

Unless your pop up blocker catches it a page will come up next in a new window. You might not even notice it until you close out the page you are working on. This is just extra advertising and you can just x out of it.

Next you may see a page that says
Please respond "Yes" or "No" to each question below and click "Submit."All offers are optional - sign up if you are interested.
At this point you can just sit still with your hand on the mouse clicking on no and click right through these.

After that you may see,
Continue to Get Your Gift By Completing the Survey Below!
Or maybe
“Here are some great offers for you. Please provide the information requested below and click SUBMIT or SKIP.”                                 Hot Tip
The key word here is SKIP.  It could be skip or pass or no thanks or something similar.  Could be any where on the page.                                               Hot Tip
For the next several pages you just skip through them all.  You do not have to fill out or submit any of this. (unless of course you want to)

The third page type in “survey offers” is one with offers listed vertically, with yes or no listed on the left side for you to click.  As always click on anything that really is of interest to you.  If no to all, click no to all except for on one offer. (the first one sometimes asks you click at least two.)

Hot Tip
Now here comes a great time saving tip.  With the pages where you have a list of offers for you to just check off yes or no if you are interested, you can easily hit no all the way down by hitting the ALT key and the + at the same time.

Hot Tip
Another way is to hit the tab button back and forth with the arrow button  pointing down next the numbers on your keyboard.
Either way don't forget to go  back and hit yes to at least one offer.

Now you are reaching the beginning of the end when you see a page that announces
Last Steps in a red bar across the top.
There are some people that swear up and down that you can stop at this point, but I have tried it and it hasn’t worked for me.  Any offer where I have not completed these last steps I have not been credited for.  You are welcome to try it both ways.

The page tells you to complete any 2 offers below. It could be two, could be 4, etc. Notice the amount of offers required and click on that many offers.  They will pop up on a different page or in a new tab. Let them stay up for a few minutes before closing so that cookies can do their thing.

Hot Tip
You do not have to submit these offers,  just click on them so that the page comes up.
You will have  (3) ending pages,  a silver, gold and a platinum page. Complete all three of these.  The last, platinum page will have at the bottom, Go to Gold Offers with an arrow that will take you backwards. Don’t do it. You are done, kinda. Now go back and close up any of the offers that are still open in other windows or tabs and x out of them.  X out of the platinum page also and return to your page with CashCrate on it. Locate the offer you just did and click on submit.  Your page will flicker. Scroll up a bit and you will see a green bar that says Congratulations! Offer "bla bla bla" has been submitted.

A little further up will be a place you can check on the status of your offer.
Pending Offers Completed Offers

At the top of the page you can see your earnings.
Offers will credit to Pending Offers instantly and then move over to the  Earnings folder.
Sometimes an offer credits instantly to the Earnings folder, and sometimes it takes a  day or so. The average time is just a few minutes, or within the hour.

You will also earn points. One point is added for every dollar you make.
The points are good for prizes.  They take a while to build up.

October's Earnings: $73.20      Pending Earnings: $31.15      Points: 110

The other type of offer I am going to explain is the Quiz Offer.
This is actually a real quiz only a couple pages. The fun type, nothing serious.  Followed by several pages of offers and advertising.  Much like the ones described above.  For these, just click through  until you see the page telling you the results/score of your quiz. Leave that page up a few minutes while you go submit your quiz offer.

Hot Tip
Quiz offers will only credit a minimum amount of times with the same email address.  This is where an extra email account comes in handy.  Look to your right for information on email accounts.

Unadvertised Hot Tip
Now since you have made it to the end of this explanation I feel you must be serious about this and serious about making money online.  So I am going to give you one more HOT TIP.
If you use a disposable email account to keep track of the spam you may get...
you will have a new and different email address every few days.  This comes in handy when doing quiz offers.  Check out sites like E4ward, Mailinator, Filz.  Even Yahoo has disposable email now.
Firefox even has some add ons that make these surveys easier and faster but that will be in my Explanation update.

If you have any problems or questions about this explanation or any other sites you have joined after seeing them on my site please Contact me and I will be glad to help.
